The all-new BENETEAU First 30 introduces an entirely new concept: the planing cruiser — a sailboat designed to deliver exhilarating performance without sacrificing simplicity, comfort or versatility.
Designed by renowned naval architect Samuel Manuard in collaboration with BENETEAU and Seascape, the First 30 combines a modern lightweight hull, twin rudders and an efficient sail plan to create a boat that accelerates easily and can transition into true planing conditions. Yet she remains remarkably stable, predictable and easy to sail, even with a small crew.
At just over 30 feet, she is equally at home racing around the buoys, enjoying an afternoon sail on San Diego Bay, or heading offshore for a weekend adventure.
The cockpit is spacious and intelligently designed, with configurations available for both cruising and performance sailing. Below deck, the First 30 offers surprising comfort for her size, with two cabins, accommodations for four, a functional galley, marine head and approximately six feet of standing headroom.
And performance doesn't mean compromising safety: the First 30 carries ocean-grade Class A certification, an impressive achievement for a yacht of this size.
Already recognized internationally, the First 30 was named European Yacht of the Year 2026 – Performance Cruiser, confirming what sailors have discovered: this is not simply another 30-foot sailboat.
