About Torben Bentsen
Torben grew up sailing in Denmark and hasn’t stopped sailing since. He is an accomplished racer and cruiser. In the past twenty years he has sailed over 50,000 NM including two trans-Atlantic crossings and multiple offshore and Hawaiian races onboard various Beneteau boats. A Beneteau broker in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2007, Torben has been the recipient of two prestigious awards – TOP GUN 2009 and TOP GUN 2019 - presented by Beneteau for his exceptional sales and service performance. He provides first hand practical knowledge and expertise in all his customers interactions. During his free time, Torben enjoys cruising on his Beneteau 50 with his wife and labradoodle puppy. He is an active member of the Bay Area boating community and a former commodore of the Richmond Yacht Club.
