About Jeff Jorgensen
Jeff Jorgensen - started sailing at 8 years old in the San Francisco Bay Area. Moved on the race Finns until it became obvious he was too light to be competitive. He has a degree in photography and worked in that industry for 26 years. Later on, he moved to Annapolis and entered the boating industry selling sailboats and catamarans, where he continued racing in the J24 and Etchells classes. Jeff joined the Beneteau Group as a commercial product specialist for Jeanneau America. Through this background Jeff has an in-depth knowledge of boats and their systems from the design process through production, delivery to clients and after sales service. In addition to sales, Jeff manages the customer service for the San Francisco Bay Area. Jeff and his wife cruise when time allows and when asked enjoys racing mostly as a mainsail trimmer.
