DAY 2 - July 10 2018
Here is a little update of the crew aboard :
"Hello all, we won't be very talkative this morning. Conditions are harsh since our departure. Girafon is performing exceptionally with its orange wings. Seems we might be recruiting a professional leak fixer. Even though we had largely anticipated this with sikaflex, we still manage to empty out 8 gallons per hour of sea water from the foil cages. Due to the conditions, it is not very practical to eat so we snack with whatever is close. The advantage is we are reeling in the miles. Matthieu is in race mode. We will try to rest now because we spent the whole night at the tiller getting hit by the sea like a firehose. See you later, Charles.
Remember the Girafon team is Sailing for ALS.
