DAY 10 - July 18 2018
Here is a little update of the crew aboard :
"Hello all, the night was agitated... rain, lots of wind, average speed high up and also a beautiful coconut tree as a spinnaker around the stay that complicated our lives... but after a big clean-up, a new spinnaker was up in the wind 30 minutes later. We had to fight zones of storm again this morning. Wind is blowing around 10 to 25 knots and other times from 20 to 5 knots. Still plenty of rain and grey. It almost feels like a October ferry trip from L'orient to Pornic. We still have 431 miles to go. Arrival predicted Friday morning. The "Shore Crew" (Anne-Cécile and Marie-Christine) have already arrived in Hawaii. It's a bummer, we thought we would arrive tonight if it weren't for that s***** weather bubble... On to other things, as you know we are sailing to fight the ALS sickness (known as the "Charcot" sickness in French). If you liked our little blog posts, don't forget to donate by clicking down below... No excuses, you can donate from everywhere in the world... make an effort, I'll have the names! We have less than 48h here. Hugs from out at sea, Charles. "
