About Bleiz Larzul

Bleiz grew up in San Francisco and learned how to sail at 4 years old when visiting family in France. Back in San Francisco, he learned how to windsurf from his dad, and started racing for the St. Francis Yacht Club on the international youth circuit. Bleiz began rigging at StFYC while working as a dock hand, and started with the basics of splicing, fiberglass, gelcoat and race preparation. He became fascinated with the trade, and quickly joined a full blown rigging shop, Easom Rigging and Racing in Point Richmond. There he refined his skills working and sailing on everything from 57ft performance catamarans, to 18ft Mercury dinghies, and every type and size of boat in between. His biggest projects there include making all the running rigging for the turboed Volvo 70 Pyewacket, as well as a full refit of the Davidson 44 Pendragon. Bleiz is also an accomplished sailing instructor, having coached youth and adults at StFYC, California Yacht Club, and his home club in France in both Learn to Sail and Advanced Racing. At Naos Yachts, Bleiz assists customers with any issue that concerns sailing their boat, and looks forward to helping them make sailing an easier process, with less friction, and more fun!
