Scot Williams

Sailtime - Channel Islands Harbor Office

About Scot Williams

Scot has lived around the water from his childhood in the Midwest, to the New England seaboard as a teen, and in California for over thirty years. He began sailing on the classic Sabot, progressed to a 16’ Hobie Cat, and bought his first keel sailboat after graduating from UCLA.
He currently lives on his fifth boat, a 49’ Ketch in Channel Islands Harbor and works there in our Oxnard office. His love of all things ocean fuels his creativity as a sculptor, painter, and fabricator. One of his most prominent sculptures, “The Lounge” can be seen on Harbor Island in San Diego. His enthusiasm for sharing his love, knowledge, and experience of a lifetime on the water is infectious.
Scot embodies the NAOS philosophy, “Life’s too short to stay at the dock.” Let’s go sailing!!
